OILED WOODEN SURFACES
Oiled wooden surfaces are heavy-duty surfaces with a good water-repellent effect. However, long-term exposure to water should be avoided. It is diffusible, resistant to saliva and sweat and prevents electrostatic charging. To clean soiled surfaces, add some grease-dissolving, mild, liquid cleaning agent (dishwashing liquid) to lukewarm water. The surfaces are cleaned with a damp cloth and then wiped dry. The surface can then be cared for. When using various cleaning agents, make sure that they do not contain alcohol, ammonia, oils or abrasives. Maintain the surfaces with a maintenance oil recommended
by the manufacturer. Then shake care oil well. Rub the furniture surface sparingly with care oil using a cotton cloth and im- mediately wipe off with a dry cotton cloth without leaving any residue. In the case of heavy wear or signs of use, the care oil can also be applied or massaged in with a grinding fleece (white) to loosen light dirt. The surfaces are then wiped clean with a dry cotton cloth without leaving any residue. The full resilience of the cared-for surface is only achieved after a few days. Troubleshooting is recommended. Attention: Danger of self-ignition! Do not process together with other paints. Cloths, paper, fleece, application sponges, filters, tools, etc. and material residues in non-combustible containers with tight-fitting lids. SOLID WOOD
Wood swells and shrinks when exposed to moisture or heat. This can result in dimensional changes, distortions and open joints. An even room climate can prevent this (approx. 20-23°C and 50-70% humidity). Clean the surface with a pH-neutral washing-up liquid and a soft cloth. Wipe the surfaces with a dry, soft cloth to avoid streaking.
